The Challenge
The penthouse had not been renovated since 2009 and the previous owner had made some non-standard modifications that needed correcting. The brief was to create a contemporary open-plan living space while preserving the extraordinary 270° sea views.
What We Did
Structural works: Two load-bearing walls were carefully analysed and one partition was removed to create a seamless kitchen-dining-living space. All structural changes were approved by the Cyprus Council of Architecture.
Materials: We specified 80×160 cm rectified porcelain throughout the main living areas, handmade Zellige tiles in the master bathroom, and fumed white oak flooring in the bedrooms.
Kitchen: Custom island unit in lacquered matte white with stone worktop, integrated Miele appliances.
Smart home: Crestron control system managing lighting scenes, climate, electric blinds, and security.
The Result
The transformation delivered a 45% increase in rental value and the property is now listed among Limassol’s top short-term rental properties.
