How much can I get back from the Cyprus SAVE grant?
Up to €10,000 for qualifying residential energy works. The grant covers 30–50% of eligible costs depending on the measure — insulation, solar water heater, heat pump and solar PV all qualify. We manage the full application process and submit the documentation on your behalf.
How quickly do solar panels pay back?
At current Cyprus electricity prices (approximately €0.26/kWh), a 5kW system (€7,000–€8,500 installed, before grants) typically pays back in 4–6 years. After payback, electricity generation is essentially free for 20+ years. With SAVE grant funding the payback period shortens to 2–4 years.
Can you combine energy renovation with a full apartment refurbishment?
Yes — and this is the most cost-effective approach. During a full renovation, adding insulation, replacing windows and pre-wiring for solar costs significantly less than returning later. We coordinate the energy measures into the main renovation schedule and prepare all grant documentation alongside the construction work.
Do I need to vacate during energy renovation works?
For insulation-only or solar panel installation, no. For heat pump installation the property typically needs to be accessible for 2–3 days. For window replacement plus insulation as part of a full renovation, we recommend vacating as with any major renovation.
