What flooring is best for Cyprus humidity?
SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) is our top recommendation for Cyprus — 100% waterproof, dimensionally stable in heat, and excellent underfoot comfort. Rectified porcelain is ideal for wet areas.
Can you install underfloor heating beneath new flooring?
Yes. We install electric underfloor heating cables or hydronic systems before laying the final floor. Electric mat systems (€25–€40/m² installed) work under porcelain, marble and some engineered wood. We advise the right approach for your chosen floor type.
Do I need to leave while flooring is being installed?
For a full apartment, we recommend vacating for 2–3 days to allow adhesive to cure and dust to settle. For room-by-room installation we can phase the work so you remain in the property.
Can you match existing flooring in a partial renovation?
We do our best to match existing tiles or boards, but perfect colour matching of discontinued lines is not always possible. We advise honestly at the survey stage. Where an exact match is not achievable, we may recommend a creative transition detail.
