My flat roof is leaking — can you fix it without removing all tiles?
Often yes. We start with a thermal imaging inspection to locate the leak source. In many cases, targeted repairs avoid full tile removal.
What waterproofing system do you use for terraces?
For terraces and balconies we use Mapei or Sika liquid membranes compliant with EN 14891 — applied in two coats with fibreglass fleece reinforcement at wall junctions and drains. This system is covered by our 10-year guarantee and qualifies for EU energy renovation grants when combined with insulation.
How soon can tiles be laid after waterproofing?
Typically 24–48 hours after the final membrane coat, we conduct a flood test (pool of water left for 24 hours). If the test passes, tiling can begin immediately. We never proceed to tiling without a passed flood test — this is non-negotiable.
Does the 10-year guarantee cover the full repair if there is a leak?
Yes. If the waterproofed area leaks within 10 years due to our workmanship or materials, we return and rectify at our cost — including removing and relaying tiles if necessary. The guarantee document is signed and handed to you at project handover.
