How long must a pool be out of use during renovation?
Typically 3–4 weeks for a full mosaic re-tile and filtration upgrade. Emptying (2 days), curing time (7–10 days after waterproofing and tiling), refilling (2–3 days) and chemical balancing (2–3 days) are all factored into our schedule.
Do you install heat pumps for pool heating?
Yes. We supply and commission air-to-water pool heat pumps that maintain 26–28°C from March to December in Cyprus, extending the swimming season by 4–5 months versus an unheated pool.
Can you convert a painted pool to mosaic tiles?
Yes. Painted pool surfaces must be sandblasted or hydroblasted to remove all paint before waterproofing and tiling. We carry out the full conversion including new filtration if needed. This gives a far more durable and attractive finish than painted surfaces, which typically need repainting every 3–5 years.
What is the cost of re-tiling a standard pool?
A standard villa pool (8×4m, 32m² water-line area plus floor) typically costs €8,000–€14,000 for full re-tile including waterproofing, mosaic tiles and coping. Larger pools, premium glass mosaic, or combined pool and deck renovation are quoted case by case.
